According to a report from Pwinsider, the room that would usually be billed as “Vince’s Office” is now being called the “CEO OFFICE” backstage. Additionally, there was a second office set up for Paul “Triple H” Levesque. The old signs that used to have Vince McMahon’s name on them are no longer there.
There were said to have been between 34,000 and 35,000 fans in attendance at SummerSlam, which is well short of a sell-out.
WWE had a two-story SummerSlam store at the pay-per-view event. The first floor had nothing but SummerSlam merchandise, while the second floor featured several WWE Superstars taking part in meet & greets.
