According to the WrestleVotes Twitter account, Daniel Bryan is likely to re-sign with WWE after his current deal with the company expires on September 1st, 2018.
As previously reported here on eWrestlingNews.com, Daniel Bryan is currently scheduled to be the focus of the WWE 2K19 Showcase mode. The decision regarding this was reportedly made several months ago and WWE made that decision by already knowing what Bryan’s intention was. As you’d expect, WWE would not be likely to have the game released without Bryan as an active member of the roster, as they would be promoting a game mode featuring a wrestler who is not working for them.
It should also be noted that Daniel Bryan is being advertised for WWE’s Super Show-Down event, which takes place in Australia in October, after Bryan’s current WWE contract expires.
Regarding Daniel Bryan and his contract: WWE has a strong idea on what he’s going to do. So much so, that months ago the decision was made to have the 2K19 Showcase mode revolve around him. Having that game release w/o Bryan on the roster wouldn’t look good. So…. pic.twitter.com/2CPMy6aeZl
