As we’ve been reporting, there continues to be a lot of talk in WWE regarding the possibility of a Women’s Wrestling Series on the WWE Network. The series would be similar to the Cruiserweight Classic. As of now and this could always change, the plan is to launch the series in early 2017 as Andy noted earlier. Numerous female talents who worked the extended tryouts at the WWE Performance Center were recently contacted by WWE officials. Several of those names include Heidi Lovelace, Kimber Lee, Nixon Newell, Cheree Crowley (Evie), Deonna Purrazzo and Rachel Ellering. The plan is for the talents who WWE officials select to report to the WWE Performance Center the first week of January 2017.
