As seen at last Friday’s (November 2, 2018) WWE Crown Jewel pay-per-view event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the King Fahd International Stadium on the WWE Network, Brock Lesnar won the WWE Universal Championship by defeating Braun Strowman. The pair of men were competing for the vacant strap that was forfeited by Roman Reigns.

Last week, it was reported that Lesnar has two more matches on his current WWE deal. The first being a match with WWE Champion AJ Styles at Survivor Series, and the second being another match with Braun Strowman.

Dave Meltzer at MMA Fighting is reporting that Lesnar agreed secretly to the new deal with the WWE that sees him working multiple shows, but its length of time has been kept secretive. It was added that Lesnar is scheduled as late as April of next year for WrestleMania.

“With [Roman] Reigns out, Lesnar got a new offer from (Vince) McMahon to replace Reigns as his top singles champion. Lesnar agreed secretly to the new deal, and won the pro wrestling championship again,” Meltzer wrote.
