At Sunday night’s WrestleMania: Backlash pay-per-view event, Charlotte Flair lost the SmackDown Women’s Championship after Ronda Rousey forced her to scream “I Quit” following an armbar with an assist from a chair.
Later in the show, Kayla Braxton appeared in a backstage segment and announced that Flair had suffered a fracture to her radius. As you’d expect, this is all storyline-related.
According to a report from Fightful, several members of the WWE creative were recently told that Flair would be taking some time off. This is why the angle was done at WrestleMania: Backlash.
As of this writing, there is no word on if she’ll be taking the time off starting tomorrow or how long she’ll be out for.
