Cole Karter, formerly known as Troy ‘Two Dimes’ Donovan from WWE NXT 2.0, made his AEW debut last weekend at the Dark tapings. He appeared on Dynamite for the first time on Wednesday night when he lost an FTW Championship match against Ricky Starks.
Fightful Select reports that they were told Karter was ‘under an AEW deal’ following his Dynamite match. Karter was also telling some people in AEW the news as well.
When asked around, Fightful was told that it was likely a tiered deal, meaning he likely won’t receive the ‘All Elite’ graphic, but he is under a deal with the company.
Karter was let go by WWE due to a wellness policy violation several weeks ago.
