As we’ve been reporting here on eWn, Don Callis has reportedly been removed from his role as Impact Wrestling EVP. There are reports that his duties within Impact Wrestling are being signifigantly reduced.
According to a report from Fightful, it is confirmed that Callis is no longer an executive with Impact Wrestling and Anthem Sports & Entertainment. With that being said, he is still expected to appear on-camera when Kenny Omega appears.
As noted yesterday, Omega and Callis filmed all of their content on the first day of the recent set of Impact Wrestling TV tapings. The two men weren’t backstage at the three other days of tapings. The move doesn’t come as much of a surprise, as many talent were under the impression that Scott D’Amore has been running things all along.
