According to a report from Pwinsider, Jeff Cobb is still a free agent and is not signed with AEW despite appearing on last night’s Dynamite broadcast. He is currently working without an exclusive contract with AEW, ROH or NJPW. Cobb’s ROH contract expired in 2019 and he did not re-sign. He’s been working there on a verbal deal. The Dynamite appearance was booked directly through AEW.
Cobb attacked Jon Moxley on Dynamite, setting up a match between the two men next week. Cobb and Dan Maff will also be defending the ROH Tag-Team Championships against Jonathan Gresham and Jay Lethal at an upcoming ROH event.
Basically, Cobb is completely free to work wherever he wants right now.
