As WWE has begun to settle into the Triple H era, many fans and viewers have been wondering what’s happened to some of their more well-known superstars. Noticeable by their absence are stars like Kevin Owens and Lacey Evans.

Owens has not appeared regularly on WWE television since Money in the Bank, and was also absent from this past Monday’s episode of RAW. Being that Owens is seen by many as a “Triple H Guy,” the assumption was that Owens would be featured more prominently on television. It was noted that Owens is not injured at present, and there are creative plans for him going forward. Many fans will remember the sustained push that Owens received when he was on WWE NXT when Hunter was at the helm for creative. Owens was also featured prominently on WWE television as Universal Champion in the months leading up to WrestleMania 33.

Other talents, such as Lacey Evans and Omos, have a less clear direction for the foreseeable future.

Lacey Evans was always a personal favorite of Vince McMahon, and was featured regularly on WWE TV. But Evans was pulled from the July 29th episode of SmackDown due to a “lack of creative direction.” At the time, it was said that she was not cleared to compete. Her name was not mentioned for last night’s Gauntlet Match on SmackDown to determine Liv Morgan’s No. 1 contender for Clash at the Castle. Previously, McMahon was very involved in Evans’ character, but many backstage thought that her return earlier this year was “chaotic and directionless.”

As for Omos, he hasn’t been on RAW in several weeks. He is still making the house show loops and has been featured on Main Event with MVP as his manager. He had a match against Ezekiel at this past Monday’s Main Event taping.

This falls in line with our report earlier this week that some talent are concerned about their spot on the card following Triple H’s promotion to the head of creative. There are several other talents who find themselves in similar positions as they wait to find out what their creative direction will be. Several of those talents have had meetings with Triple H individually, though details of those meetings have not yet been revealed.
