According to a report from PWInsider, there was no talk backstage about a possible AEW and NJPW relationship at last night’s AEW Dynamite TV tapings. With that being said, there was a lot of happiness that Chris Jericho got AEW more exposure through his match with Hiroshi Tanahashi.
As of now, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks are free to work for NJPW, but NJPW hasn’t offered anything in return so their returns look unlikely as of now. NJPW officials were reportedly very unhappy about Kenny Omega leaving last year and there is still some “bad blood” on their end.
