Backstage Update on The Revival’s Contracts with WWE

Here are the latest updates on The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder).

As we previously reported here on eWn, The Revival’s current WWE contracts will be expiring this spring. According to a report from Fightful, their contract statuses remain the same as of now. While both Dawson and Wilder haven’t “outright rejected” their new contract offers, they were not “quick to accept them either.”

WWE is reportedly “throwing everything at the Revival, and they’re just saying, ‘We’ll let you know.’” The two men have both pushed hard for a “well-booked tag-team division.”

In April of 2019, it was reported that WWE offered both men five-year contracts said to be worth $500,000 per year. Both men passed on those deals. The Revival has held both the RAW and SmackDown tag-team titles since then.

It should also be noted that Dawson and Wilder have both “approached and exceeded” the levels in which Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson signed to stay with WWE. Also, WWE’s current offers to Dawson and Wilder are said to have included reduced dates with some weekends off.
