We reported last night here on eWn that WWE Performance Center recruit AJ Francis took to Twitter to reveal that Triple H made himself available to hear all of the WWE NXT talents’ feelings on the Black Lives Matter movement. As most of you know by now, there are many protests ongoing all over the world due to the death of George Floyd, Breanna Taylor and others.
According to sources, Triple H addressed the entire WWE NXT roster before and after NXT Takeover: In Your House last night to comment on the issue.
During a backstage meeting prior to the show, he told the talent that anyone who wanted to talk to him about their feelings, including Black Lives Matter, were welcome to do so. With that being said, there wasn’t an open conversation with everyone around but most seemed receptive to the gesture.
Triple H held another backstage meeting following the show and noted that he was proud of the talent for standing up for their beliefs. According to someone who was there, Triple H got emotional and said that he wants everyone to matter regardless of race, religion or sexual orientation. The meeting was described as a “powerful moment” of unity.
