As we previously reported here on eWn, Vince McMahon was backstage at Monday night’s episode of RAW, and a new report from Fightful Select has shared additional details on the situation.
McMahon was backstage at Monday night’s TV tapings which were held in Hartford, CT near WWE’s Headquarters in Stamford, CT.
The talent and staff hadn’t seen McMahon until 6:00 PM EST, though there was a room prepped for someone to “work out,” and it ended up being McMahon’s office. The Chairman was backstage by 6:30 PM ET.
The majority of the staff were not taken aback by this due to the proximity of RAW to Vince’s residence, and most do not expect him to be backstage on a regular basis. As reported earlier, McMahon has been making changes to RAW remotely.
Additionally, it was noted that McMahon was in the gorilla position for the show on Monday night, the same place he was during WrestleMania 39 weekend.
Despite The Chairman’s presence, there was no word of anything out of the ordinary and the mood was less hectic at Monday’s show than the RAW after WrestleMania 39.
