In an update on why WWE kept Kalisto off SmackDown this week, the real reason for it was was due to WWE promotional commitments that were previously planned. Following Monday’s WWE RAW TV tapings, Kalisto left for Mexico to do some promotional work for WWE’s tour in late August and early December.
As noted during the week, WWE.com posted an article noting that Kalisto was “injured” following Rusev’s attack on RAW. Of course, this was all a storyline angle.
Kalisto will be defending the United States Title against Rusev at the WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view tomorrow night.
