— At this time, WWE calling is Cody Rhodes’s injury a “concussion and a strained shoulder.” Rhodes was injured on the WWE Main Event tapings, taking a backdrop from Kane, where he landed awkwardly on his head and shoulder. WWE is saying that Rhodes’s status for the Survivor Series PPV is in jeopardy, as he will have to pass a concussion test to compete at the PPV.

WrestleMania 30’s location in 2014 could be determined by whether or not WWE finalizes a deal to broadcast SummerSlam from Europe. Since Los Angeles has been the annual host of SummerSlam, WWE could move it to Europe in 2013 with WrestleMania 30 in Los Angeles for April 2014. This could also change the SummerSlam 2014 location since there is a quick turnaround from April to August.

If Los Angeles gets a WrestleMania again (after 21 in the Staples Center), WWE could either run the Staples Center again or go with the NFL stadium theme by waiting to see if Los Angeles finishes a deal for one of several proposed NFL stadiums to get a team back to the city. There is no guarantee that one of the stadiums would be finished by the time WWE needs to make a decision on WrestleMania 30.
