WWE announced on Monday that WWE Champion Drew McIntyre has tested positive for COVID-19. It was also confirmed that he has been quarantined.
It was also reported that there was another outbreak in WWE. Dave Meltzer talked about this on today’s edition of Wrestling Observer Radio.
Meltzer noted there are “at least” four WWE Superstars, including Drew McIntyre, that currently have or just recently recovered from the coronavirus, but “there may be more” wrestlers who were diagnosed with COVID in WWE.
One of the Superstars with COVID is a SmackDown talent, who was scheduled for last Friday’s show but had to be taken off. There’s another major Superstar who reportedly “just returned from COVID,” and there’s reportedly another one from NXT.
