As you may remember, officials within WWE requested mandatory training sessions before the company returned to their full touring schedule. It was also at one of these sessions that Bayley suffered a torn ACL, ruling her out for an estimated nine months.
In a further update on these sessions, a report from Fightful Select has now stated these sessions were not actually completely mandatory as first completed. The report states that whilst the sessions were originally mandatory, this then changed in the following days. Talent relations made it clear that anyone who had a personal reason for not attending it would be “taken under consideration”.
The report also stated that several superstars within the company would exercise this choice, and did not attend. However, a talent within the company did state that “almost all of WWE’s female talent made the trip in [to the PC].”
