There have been plenty of rumors going around regarding Sasha Banks and her status with WWE. Banks was reportedly upset after having her WWE Women’s Tag Team Title reign alongside Bayley cut short at WrestleMania. The IIconics left New Jersey with the new championships.
Both Bayley and Banks were upset with the call, as both women protested backstage and at their hotels. However, it was Banks who threatened to leave the company over the incident. Instead, WWE gave Banks some time off to think things over, and she has been vacationing with family and friends.
Banks missed this week’s Monday Night RAW and SmackDown Live during the Superstar Shake-Up. The tag team involving Banks and Bayley seems to have been dissolved after Bayley was moved to SmackDown Live last night.
According to a report from POST Wrestling, WWE is hoping that Banks will return after being given some time off. One person said WWE hopes to have her back for the next pay-per-view (PPV) but nothing is set in stone.
