UPDATE: According to multiple sources, the current WWE contracts for The Usos will expire in April 2019. WWE has reportedly been in discussions with Jimmy and Jey Uso on signing them to a new deal.

The two sides are currently negotiating. The same goes for numerous other WWE talents who’s contracts are expiring in 2019. There is said to be a lot of tension and concern backstage within WWE over talents that have contracts expiring in 2019 and them possibly “jumping ship” to AEW (All Elite Wresrling) with what the company is offering (first class flights, health insurance, & long-term contracts worth a ton of money), especially to talents who are currently in WWE.

ORIGINAL: It looks like WWE could be in danger of losing one of their better-known tag teams. According to a report from Fightful‘s Sean Ross Sapp, there is some concern within the company about The Usos not re-signing with WWE. It was made clear that it’s unknown when The Usos’ deal is up, but there is concern about them deciding not to re-sign:

“I heard there has been some concern that they may not re-sign. Now, I don’t know when their deal is up but I just heard there is some concern that they might not re-sign. That doesn’t mean they are going to AEW but it means that there is just some concern.”

Perhaps The Usos could be interested in joining All Elite Wrestling (AEW), which will likely be putting a big emphasis on tag team wrestling once it gets underway. During their time with WWE, The Usos have won tag team gold on five separate occasions.
