At Wednesday’s NXT TV tapings in Winter Park, Florida, WWE announced that War Games would be returning and there will be two rings. It will be Sanity vs. Undisputed Era vs. Authors Of Pain & Roderick Strong at NXT Takeover: War Games.
Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE bringing back the concept of the match was a late decision. Originally, WWE had planned on Sanity defending the NXT Tag Team Championship against Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish.
The NXT Takeover: War Games event takes place on Saturday, November 18th at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas and will air on the WWE Network.
