According to a new report from Pro Wrestling Sheet, Vince McMahon made the final call to bring Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, Ruby Riot, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan to the main roster. According to sources, McMahon felt that the RAW and SmackDown! Live women’s divisions had “grown stale”. The site reports that the decision to call the women up to the main roster was made shortly after the “Mae Young Classic” took place.
It should also be noted that Mandy Rose was the first name that came up because the WWE creative team had previously pitched ideas for her debut. While there is a lot of speculation online about a women’s Royal Rumble match, there are no plans for that to take place as of this writing.
If WWE were to bring back The Bella Twins, they would have 20 (excluding the champions) women on the main roster.
