— During a live event in Switzerland, Antonio Cesaro worked as a match against WWE producer/agent William Regal, who is now working part time as an in ring performer. Its interesting to note that the former United States Champion worked the match as a babyface since it was his home country. WWE is not expected to do a permanent turn on television, though.
— When WWE brought Anthony Carelli up to the main roster, they wanted to give him another name to use. It had to be something Italian sounding. After coming up with Santino for his first name, they opted to go with Marella for his last name. That was a tribute to the late Gorilla Monsoon, whose real name was Robert Marella.
— Fans have noticed that Sin Cara has not been used recently. He’s been cleared by the medical team to return to the ring since the start of April. The masked star is basically waiting for the creative department to come up with something for him, especially since Rey Mysterio is away at the current time. There’s talks that he could be brought back after Extreme Rules.
