We have some interesting notes to discuss regarding the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match that headlined the 2022 WWE Elimination Chamber premiere event, which happened live in Saudi Arabia on Saturday.
According to PWInsider, the incident that occurred with Lesnar’s chamber pod door being smashed was in fact legitimate. The spot was not planned in advance, with Lesnar choosing to smash out the door. Nothing about the door was rigged or staged.
Aside from this, the crowd in Jeddah arrived late to the show due to heavy traffic. The stadium was said to have somewhere between 15,000-20,000 fans in attendance.
While the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event went off the air earlier than expected, everything that WWE wanted to achieve on the show happened and ran according to their schedule.
