Monday Night Raw has gotten some terrible reviews in recent weeks. While fans have become accustomed to the sub-par content provided in the PC era following the madness that was the ’90s and early 2000s, it seems like the WWE product has reached an all-time low. A lot of the blame is being put on Vince McMahon, who re-wrote Raw himself the past two weeks in a row.
It’s hard for WWE to be motivated to put on great shows, and make one week’s episode better than the previous, as there is no real competition out there. With that being said, acting Raw General Manager Baron Corbin spoke to WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T on his podcast, “Heated Conversations.”
Corbin was asked for his thoughts on the negative reactions Raw has been receiving lately. Here’s what he had to say:
“Just because [Twitter fans] are the loudest, it doesn’t mean they’re the majority,” Corbin said. “It’s good that people speak their minds about these kinds of things, but it’s my show and if you want to change it, try. That’s what I say.
“Come get it, if you want it. I’m in charge, but tonight we’re going to step it up and put something fresh out there. We’re always out there like [Booker T] said to put on the best show possible. I want tonight to be better than last week.
“I want last week to be better than the week before. I want next week to be better than this week. Like, if you’re not getting better, you’re getting worse.”
