Batista took to Twitter earlier today, confirming the reports that he will not be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year. He said,
“To the @WWEUniverse Unfortunately due to previous obligations I am unable to be a part of the @WWE #HOF this year. By my request they have agreed to induct me at a future ceremony where I’ll be able to properly thank the fans and people who made my career possible #DreamChaser”

Batista had been confirmed for the 2020 Hall of Fame class but it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The reason “Big Dave” won’t be appearing this year is because he’s currently overseas for a filming commitment and isn’t able to make it back to the United States in time.
