While CM Punk is likely to be making his return to pro wrestling this Friday night on AEW Rampage in Chicago, IL, he’s been working on transitioning into acting since leaving WWE years ago. As you know, Punk is one of the main characters on the Heels series on STARZ.
During a recent interview, CM Punk praised Batista and noted that he wants to follow in his footsteps. Batista saw CM Punk’s comments and noted that he thinks Punk will eventually become a bigger movie star than wrestling star. He said,
“I already knew this. And the talent is obvious. He’s going to be bigger in films than he was in wrestling. Save this tweet”
Punk later replied to Batista’s comment, saying,
