Bayley has returned to WWE, and she didn’t come alone.
During Saturday night’s SummerSlam 2022 pay-per-view event, the “Role Model” made her return to the company following the RAW Women’s Championship match featuring Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch, which saw Belair hit a Spanish Fly and KOD on Lynch to retain her title. Following the match, Lynch shook hands with Belair before Bayley’s music hit and she made her way down the aisle.
Before hitting the ring, Bayley was joined by the returning Dakota Kai and Io Shirai. All three women then stormed the ring and were about to attack Belair, but a newly-turned babyface in Becky Lynch made the save. That led to Bayley, Kai and Shirai leaving the ring.
Belair’s reign with the RAW Women’s Championship now stands at 116 days.
Kai was released from WWE back in April. Shirai hasn’t been featured on WWE NXT 2.0 TV since April, while Bayley has been out of action for over a year after suffering an ACL injury.
