During Saturday night’s 2022 WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view event, we saw RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch defeat Doudrop to retain the RAW Women’s Championship via pinfall following a top rope Manhandle Slam.
As previously reported here on eWn, the match experienced some difficulties as the WrestleMania 38 sign caught fire and had to be lowered to deal with the hazard. Fans in the seating area below the sign also had to be evacuated.
