WWE Monday Night RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch was recently interviewed by Fair Game to talk about several professional wrestling topics. During the interview, Lynch was asked about whether or not her trash talk has ever struck a nerve with another WWE Superstar.
Here’s what she had to say:
My goal is to make this industry the coolest most intriguing thing on TV. I want people to care, I want people to be invested. So sometimes I’ll go a little bit far and if people don’t understand that and often times they don’t. I’m sorry, but I’m trying to make you money, I’m trying to make me money, I’m trying to make the company money, and I’m trying to make people outside to care about what we’re doing.
I want people to think this is cool. I want it to be higher than its ever been. Because I love this business, I’m a wrestling fan. I grew up watching it and when I was younger I just thought it was the coolest thing in the world and I still want people to think that because I want everybody to feel like that like ‘Oh, god they’re going a little bit far,’ but let me be in there.
