As we previously reported here on eWn, WWE stopped advertising Becky Lynch vs. Zoey Stark at one point for RAW as Lynch wasn’t medically cleared as of that afternoon. The bout went on as scheduled, as Lynch was medically cleared to work and went over in the match.
Lynch revealed at the 2023 ESPY Awards on Wednesday while talking with USA TODAY Sports that she had a procedure done to remove a cyst. She said,
“When I landed from London, I had to go to the ER and had to get a cyst removed. Then had to get that redone on Friday, but was in the ring, fine, ready to go by Monday.”
