WWE RAW Superstar Becky Lynch regrets that she was not able to compete at Clash at the Castle in September of this year.
The Cardiff, Wales show brought over 62,000 fans to Principality Stadium, WWE’s biggest event in the UK since SummerSlam 1992.
While speaking with WWE UK, Lynch addressed missing the show due to a shoulder injury she suffered at this year’s SummerSlam. She said,
“It was very hard for me to watch that and to be missing out on it and hearing the crowd and how amazing they were. They were freaking amazing. I have faith that there will be more. Many more.”
Lynch returned to action at Survivor Series: WarGames and got the win for Team Bianca over Team Damage CTRL.
WWE Clash at the Castle 2022 broke several records for the promotion, including the most merchandise sales of any non-WrestleMania event.
Becky Lynch has spoken of her pain at missing WWE ’s Clash at the Castle early this year – the company’s first UK stadium show in three decades. She made her comeback after three months out with a separated shoulder to join forces with Bianca Belair’s team at Survivor Series: War Games the following night. Over 60,000 WWE fans packed into Principality Stadium to see the company’s long-awaited return to stadium action.
Becky Lynch said in a WWE interview: “Oh, don’t remind me. It was very hard for me to watch that and to be missing out on it and hearing the crowd and how amazing they were. They were freaking amazing. I have faith that there will be more. Many more. Where would I like to take a major stadium show? Ireland. Croke Park. 100% that’s it. No hesitation with that.”
