Last night (Sun. July 14, 2019) at the WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view (PPV), Brock Lesnar cashed in his Money In The Bank briefcase to defeat Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship.
Rollins had just defended the title in a match in which he paired up with Becky Lynch, who was defending her RAW Women’s Championship, in a Winner Takes All match against Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans. After the loss, and after the show went off-air, Lynch showed support for Rollins, who continuously apologized to the crowd for letting everyone down.
