Ronda Rousey’s impromptu return on last week’s episode of WWE SmackDown drew the attention of many wrestling fans, and even the attention of The Man herself, Becky Lynch.
Last week, Rousey hopped the barricade and entered the ring, dumping a big bag of money out to pay the “fine” that was levied against her. Fans will recall that Ronda was suspended (in storyline) for attacking an official following her title match loss to Liv Morgan at SummerSlam.
Dumping out the wads of cash seemed very familiar to fans, and especially to Lynch herself. In her run up to WrestleMania 36, Lynch infamously came to the ring and started dropping money to pay the fine that she was sure to receive following what she was going to do to Shayna Baszler after Baszler had attacked her backstage.
A fan posted a tweet on Saturday referencing the Lynch segment and said Rousey was always imitating Lynch, which The Man retweeted with “Ronnie [love]s The Man.”
