Big E is continuing to update fans regarding his injury as he broke his neck when he took a belly-to-belly suplex from Ridge Holland during a tag team match on a recent episode of SmackDown as he landed right on his head.
The former WWE Champion won’t need to undergo surgery and there was no damage to his spinal cord. He fractured the C-1 and C-6 vertebrae in his neck.
Big E took to Twitter and shared what he was told by his doctor today:
Had my first doctor’s appointment and learning (because of the C1 fracture) I narrowly escaped a stroke, paralysis or death is very sobering. Life feels even more precious and valuable now.
