As seen during Monday night’s episode of RAW, we now have a new WWE Champion as Big E. cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase on Bobby Lashley to win the title.
Following a match between Bobby Lashley and Randy Orton where Lashley retained, The New Day member came out and cashed in his briefcase. The show then went to a commercial break.
When they came back from the break, it was revealed that Lashley was nursing a leg injury but Big E. didn’t seem to care. The bell eventually rang and the two faced off against each other. Big E. then hit his finisher to pick up the win and claim the title.
This marks Big E.’s first WWE World Championship win. Bobby Lashley’s title reign ends at 196 days.
