UPDATE: As reported yesterday here on eWrestlingNews.com, Roman Reigns has been accused of being a client of a now-jailed steroid dealer. Richard Rodriguez told filmmaker Johnny Bravo the following: “One of them, in particular, is a very famous wrestler by the name of Roman Reigns. He was originally introduced to me by one of the informants.”

In a statement to PWInsider, Reigns said, “I have never heard of Richard Rodriguez or Wellness Fitness Nutrition. I learned from the mistake I made nearly two years ago and paid the penalty for it. Since then, I’ve passed 11 tests as part of WWE’s independent drug testing program.”

As reported, Roman Reigns was suspended for a WWE Wellness Policy violation in June of 2016. The rumored cause was Adderall, but WWE has never confirmed that publicly.

TMZ.com is reporting that Mark Wahlberg and Josh Duhamel are also being accused. You can listen to the jailhouse interview below:

ORIGINAL: Richard Rodriguez, a steroid dealer who is currently in jail, is accusing WWE Superstar Roman Reigns of being one of his former clients. Rodriguez’ gym in Miami, Florida was raided by US federal agents last year. During a telephone interview with documentary filmmaker Jonny Bravo, Rodriguez listed off a bunch of celebrities he claims were associated with him and Roman Reigns was the first name he said. It should be noted that there is no evidence to support the claim.

Reigns is a three-time WWE Champion and was suspended for his first violation of WWE’s Wellness Policy in June 2016. At the time, he issued a statement apologizing to fans.
