Wrestling journalist Bill Apter was a recent guest on the WrestleBinge by Sportskeeda podcast, where he expressed his desire for Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to get involved with Endeavor-WME in the acquisition of Vince McMahon’s WWE. Apter said,
“The heck with The Rock at WrestleMania. Iwant to see The Rock and his Seven Bucks [production company], and they’re involved with Endeavor, the UFC people — if anyone is going to partner [to] buy the WWE, it’s gotta be with him involved. That’s the only way to keep that company out of the hands of what happened to WCW.”
According to various reports, Vince McMahon plans on executing a sale of WWE by the end of this year.
Endeavor-WME currently owns UFC.
