“The Almighty” Bobby Lashley and “The Man Of The Hour” Lio Rush were quite the pairing on WWE programming starting in September 2018.
During their run together Lio Rush would act as a hype man for Lashley. In January 2019, he would also help assist Lashley in winning the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
Now it appears Lashley would like to return the favor to the current NXT Cruiserweight Champion Lio Rush.

”I already gave him a call and hit him up and told him if he needs any help keeping that title, I’m a phone call away man. I think we got to do something.”
“Hopefully I can get in there and maybe throw around some little guys and help him retain that title, because he helped me for an entire year, so I owe him one.”
