Former WWE NXT Champion Bobby Roode has returned to NXT 2.0.
During the main event of Tuesday night’s NXT 2.0 broadcast, Dolph Ziggler faced off against Tomasso Ciampa in a #1 contender’s match for a shot at Bron Breakker’s NXT Championship.
While Ciampa had the match won, a “cameraman” came in and hit him with his camera and then revealed himself to be Bobby Roode. Following the distraction, Ziggler was able to hit a superkick for the win. The two then celebrated in the ring and attacked Ciampa, which resulted in Breakker coming out to make the save.
Breakker then proceeded to grab a microphone and challenged the Dirty Dogs to a tag match against himself and Ciampa. As of this writing, there is no word on when that match will be taking place but it appears to be happening on next week’s episode of NXT 2.0.
