Booker T believes that the Men’s Royal Rumble match could be an ‘Ucey’ affair this Saturday in Texas.
This Saturday’s Royal Rumble will be the 36th event in the show’s history and the sixth to feature a men’s and women’s Rumble match.
On his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker predicted that Sami Zayn could be the one earning a title match, and with it, the ire of the Bloodline. He said,
“I can see Sami Zayn winning just because he’s had that lighting-in-a-bottle effect. We’ve been able to actually see how good this guy is. His entertainment is over the top. He can go out and perform with anybody in the business.”
Zayn isn’t the only favorite to win, as many fans predict Cody Rhodes will emerge victorious, something Booker could also see happening. He added,
“I think it is very feasible that I could see Cody Rhodes winning this thing because we got to find Roman an opponent that the fans are gonna get behind, and we can go out and make some money.”
Addressing the possibility of The Rock entering the match, Booker had his doubts, saying he believes the only matches The Rock will have now are singles or tag matches.
WWE Royal Rumble 2023 will take place on Saturday, January 28 from the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
