Edge may have already accepted an impending retirement in his mind, according to two-time WWE Hall of Famer Booker T.
In January 2020, Edge returned from a nearly nine-year retirement caused by severe issues in his neck.
Speaking on RAW Talk, Booker addressed Edge’s future amid his ongoing feud with the Judgment Day.
“When I hear Edge talk about the bones creaking and whatnot, they always say when you hear a professional say, ‘I’m thinking about retirement,’ he’s already retired. So, Edge is definitely stepping into a danger zone right here.”
Appearing in his native Canada earlier this month, Edge teased that he plans on retiring when the company returns to the Great White North next year.
Edge will face Finn Balor at WWE Extreme Rules on October 8.
