Pwinsider.com is reporting that Braun Strowman is slated for surgery in Birmingham, Alabama this Monday. As noted, WWE believes the injury to be a minor issue and something the company can work around leading into the WWE TLC PPV next month where he’s scheduled to face Baron Corbin.
As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw in Los Angeles, CA at the Staples Center on the USA Network, Drew McIntyre, Bobby Lashley and Acting Raw General Manager Baron Corbin attacked Strowman during their six-man tag team match. After the match, WWE announced that Strowman had suffered “injuries” as a result.
It turns out that this angle was done to cover for the fact that Strowman will indeed need elbow surgery as he has a legit injury.
