This past October, Roman Reigns opened up an episode of Monday Night RAW with a very emotional revelation. “The Big Dog” announced that he is battling leukemia, a disease he has battled and defeated once before in his life. He was forced to relinquish his WWE Universal Championship after just having defeated Brock Lesnar for the strap.
Reigns has been taking time away from WWE to focus on his health and spend time with his family. Recently, he was photographed with a fan at a Hawaii hotel gym. Reigns looked to be in phenomenal shape and seemed to be in good spirits. WWE star Braun Strowman was recently interviewed by WrestlingNewsCo, and provided an update on Reigns.
“The Monster Among Men” said he spoke to Reigns recently, and that the former WWE World Champion is vacationing in Hawaii and visiting family. Strowman said Reigns is doing his treatments at home and is feeling well:
“[Roman is] doing really well. I think he’s in Hawaii right now on vacation seeing some of his family so everything is going good.
“It’s just a day by day thing. I know he’s doing his treatments and stuff at home. When I speak to him, he sounds well and says he feels well. I trust him with everything he’s ever told me.”
