WWE has worked a legitimate injury to Braun Strowman into a current storyline on Monday Night Raw. “The Monster Among Men” has been dealing with bone spurs in his elbow for some time now, and was written off WWE TV after being attacked by Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre, and Baron Corbin last week.
Strowman is set to undergo surgery, and his status for Tables Ladders and Chairs is currently unknown. Strowman is set to face Corbin in a TLC match at the pay-per-view (PPV) next month. The stipulation is, if Strowman wins, he’ll face Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble for the Universal Championship. Should Corbin win, his position as acting Raw General Manager will become permanent.
However, after attacking Strowman on WWE TV, Corbin is expecting to win the match at TLC via forfeit. He’s dubbed himself “General Manager-Elect.” On Raw last night, WWE aired a promo video from Strowman in the hospital. He sported a bad bruise on his arm, and issued a warning to the three men who attacked him last week – McIntyre, Corbin, and Bobby Lashley. He said they’d all “get these hands” when he’s 100 percent again:
