According to reports from Friday night’s Impact Wrestling TV tapings in Atlanta, GA, Scott Steiner passed out backstage and was immediately taken to a local hospital. We know Steiner came to the ring earlier in the night and did a segment. It appears he collapsed once he returned to the backstage area. Details are sketchy as of this writing but Tommy Dreamer took to Twitter to say Scott was “doing well and under great care”. Dreamer also noted that he, Joey Ryan and Scott D’Amore were all at the hospital with Scott and asked fans to say a prayer for “Big Poppa Pump”. He said,
Im at the hospital right now w/ @ScottDAmore @JoeyRyanOnline Scott Steiner is doing well And under great care Say a prayer for Big Poppa Pump Holla if ya hear me
D’Amore also tweeted that Scott was “OK”.
