— Bloodstained Memoirs, a documentary released in the UK about the business, was released in the US. The DVD has interviews with Great Muta, Ultimo Dragon, Chris Jericho, Roddy Piper, Rob Van Dam, Molly Holly and more. It also has extras including Mick Foley vs Jimmy Snuka from Herb Abrams’ UWF.
— Two new wrestling books will be published in the Spring. These include The Hardcore Truth – The Bob Holly Story by Bob Holly and Ross Williams (an autobiography) and The Three Count: My Life in Stripes as a WWE Referee by former ref Jimmy Korderas. Adam “Edge” Copeland wrote the foreword for that book. Both will be released in April 2013 from ECW Press.
— Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels will be reuniting at Wrestlemania 29 weekend for a special signing and Q&A Session together in New York City. The event takes place April 4th at Dave & Busters in Times Square at 6 PM, and will cost $225 a ticket. More information available at this link.
— The New York Post picked up a story which said that New York Yankee Alex “A-Rod” Rodriguez was seen flirting with several women at Saturday night’s ALCS game against the Detroit Tigers. It noted that he is dating former WWE Diva Torrie Wilson.
A source said: “Alex was holding a pen and wrote a note on a ball which was thrown at the women by a ball boy. The girls, who had already caught two balls, seemed bemused at first and tried to hand the ball to another fan, but other fans noticed the note on it and yelled at them to read it. The note asked them to write their phone numbers on the ball and throw it back. One of the girls, with darker blond hair, wrote . . . on the ball and threw it back at A-Rod, who gave her a big smile.”
