Bret “Hitman” Hart is jumping into the bar business.
Hart, a 7-time World Champion, announced on Thursday that his “Hitman’s Bar” is set to launch in Calgary next month. Hart tweeted:
“Join me this February as @hitmansbar in Calgary AB, Canada finally opens! A place to gather, enjoy a great meal, live, laugh, and celebrate. Please follow the restaurant & bar at: @hitmansbar Grand opening details: coming soon!!!”
Hitman’s Bar will not be the first time that Hart has involved himself in the world of adult beverages. In 2018, Calgary’s Village Brewery launched a citrus hibiscus ale named, “The Village Hitman Citrus Hibiscus Ale,” honoring the wrestling legend. Hart also recently collaborated with Alberta-based Romero Distilling Co. for their signature dark rum.
This also isn’t the first time that a professional wrestler has ventured into the F&B industry. On New Year’s Eve of 2012, Hulk Hogan opened his “Hogan’s Beach” family restaurant in Tampa Bay, Florida. In 2020, The Hulkster launched his second restaurant “Hogan’s Hangout” on Clearwater Beach.
