Brett DiBiase, the son of ‘Million Dollar Man’ Ted DiBiase, is looking at some serious jail time after pleading guilty to charges of conspiracy to defraud the United States.

While not as well-known as his father or brother, Brett was under contract with WWE from 2008 to 2011 and made an on-screen appearance at SummerSlam 2009.

WLBT reports that DiBiase pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to defraud the United States in U.S. District Court on March 1.

DiBiase, alongside several others, embezzled millions of dollars in Temporary Assistance for Needy Families funding.

Brett’s business Restore2 LLC was paid $48,000 using a series of fraudulent and false claims to receive payment and has been accused of helping cover up these payments with false documents and invoices.

Investigators claimed that DiBiase was paid for teaching classes about drug abuse which he did not teach, and was instead at a luxury rehab facility in California.

The plea comes more than two years after he pleaded guilty to two charges in Hinds County Circuit Court.

The total three pleas are tied to what has been reported as the largest example of public embezzlement in the state of Mississippi.

Brett’s father Ted, who appeared for WWE NXT in 2021, received more than $2.1 million in welfare funds from the state for his ministry.

In October 2021, a court ordered DiBiase Sr. to pay $722,299 of the misappropriated funds.

Last May, the Mississippi Department of Human Services sued the DiBiases, including Ted Jr., to recover more than $20 million in fraudulently acquired money.

In addition to his sentence, Brett DiBiase faces up to five years in federal prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
