During a recent Twitter Spaces session, GCW owner Brett Lauderdale confirmed that Jon Moxley is still the GCW World Champion despite recently entering a rehab facility for alcohol issues.
During the session, Lauderdale announced that Moxley will not be stripped of the title during his hiatus. Moxley defeated Matt Cardona to capture the Gamechanger Wrestling World Title on September 4th at GCW’s “The Art of War Games” event.
Moxley entered an inpatient alcohol treatment program in early November.
