Last Tuesday on SmackDown Live, John Cena & Shinsuke Nakamura went one-on-one to determine who would challenge Jinder Mahal for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam. During their bout, Shinsuke Nakamura went for an exploder-suplex and Cena was not able to complete the full flip as he ended up landing on his head/neck.

Many wondered if “The King Of Strong Style” would suffer any consequences after possibly injuring one of WWE’s top dogs, but according to PWInsider, there is no heat on Shinsuke Nakamura backstage from anyone and the current feel is that it was simply just a botched spot.
